Col de Port

Video starts from Tarascon-sur-Ariège, where we start the long ascent, with several flat sections. The real climbing starts when you have left the village of Saurat; however, even here it is mostly gentle with nothing to trouble an experienced cyclist. The scenery is green and open for much of the route, but the great views only really come with the haripins at the top of the climb.
The gradients are never really steep and there are also several flat sections to give you a nice rest.
At the top we go down to Massat surrounded by tranquility and the splendid views over the Massat valley and the Pyreneen chain.
We run some flat kilometers to Saint Girons, where video ends.
