The classic climbs of the Tour of Lombardy, Colma di Sormano and Madonna del Ghisallo.
Almost 100 kilometers along the banks of Lago di Como, touching Lecco and the famous Bellagio.

Colma di Sormano Length: 9.5 km; Altitude gain = 600 Mtr: Average gradient 6.5%; Maximum gradient 9.5%;
Madonna del Ghisallo Length: 9.2 km; Altitude gain = 550 Mtr; Average gradient 6%; Largest incline 13%;

well, it is very much known that the Como lake area is one of the most beautiful in Italy and the whole world. If you are not lucky enough to live there and ride your bike in the real world buy this video to get an impression how much you miss! This video covers the nice and famous climbs and beautiful roads on the lakeside. Very good picture quality!
We spent our hollidays at the Lago Maggiore 2 years ago and I was soooo jealous about all the cyclists, because I didn't have a bike with me. So, riding the 'Tour of Lombardy' kind of compenstes for that...
One of the places I'd really like to live (okay, that's true for most of the regions in Italy). Beatutiful scenery, great ride. Excellent video quality. I own about 80 RLVs, but this one is definitely one of my favourites.

La partenza anonima dalla periferia di Lecco esalta il percorso all’interno del triangolo lariano, ma fa il suo x scaldarsi lo stretto necessario. Il percorso è tutto piacevolmente pedalabile, anche grazie alla + agevole salita a Sormano che evita il leggendario Muro omonimo lasciandotelo sognare quando si incontra l’evidente insegna x la svolta a sinistra (a quando una tecnologia x far scegliere al ciclista una variante di percorso?). Discesa sul ramo di Como e pedalata lungo lago sino a Bellagio sono molto piacevoli. Bellissimo l’ambiente che circonda la salita alla Madonna del Ghisallo mentre da lì in poi l’unico altro tratto veramente gradevole è la discesa verso il ramo di Lecco e il costeggiare il lago prima delle gallerie finali. Buona incursione in Lombardia, ma gli amici di Bikelab sanno fare anche di meglio!
